Mechanical Engineer

Pittsburgh, PA (Downtown, basically where the 3 rivers meet)

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

$80k – $160k (junior – sr. level openings), Bonuses, Full benefits, Hybrid (2 days in office and flexible) 401k match, tuition reimbursement, etc.

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a small- mid-sized firm who have been around for >100 years and work on a variety of projects including: Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Hospitals, Co-generation, Microgrids, Warehouse, Office, etc.

OVERVIEW

The ideal Candidate will work with clients to define and confirm project scopes of work, do field surveys, engineering calculations, codes, develop conceptual design, detailed design documents, construction drawings and specifications, support services, project management, leadership, and coordinate design resources and activities.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Prepare mechanical system construction documents

• Technical design and quality control, mechanical system calculations and layouts

• Produce of construction document, Construction administration, site visits, and shop drawing review

• Project management

• Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace

• HVAC system, ductwork, hydronic design, air side design

• Plumbing system design, calculations, and layout

• BSME, BSAE or similar with 3+ years’ US experience

• EIT or PE (preferred)
