Job Description

The Radiology and Radiological Sciences Department at our organization is on the lookout for full-time Interventional Radiologists to become part of our Interventional Radiology (IR) team in Nashville, TN. Our IR faculty are recognized leaders in their specialty, providing a diverse range of intricate vascular and non-vascular interventions within our academic medical center.

Position Highlights:

Become a member of a growing team that includes 15 faculty members, 17 residents, 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), 28 nursing staff, and 26 technologists.
Participate in a call schedule of 1:13.
Engage in a variety of complex vascular and non-vascular procedures.
Work at a Level 1 Trauma Center and the fifth largest transplant facility in the United States.
Utilize state-of-the-art technology and a newly established 18-bay recovery unit.
Services are offered at our main hospital and the children's hospital, with plans for three additional angiography suites in a nearby outpatient surgery center.

Position Requirements:

Completion of a fellowship or integrated residency in interventional radiology.
Possession of an MD or equivalent qualification.
Eligibility or certification from the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
Eligibility for a Tennessee medical license.
Capability to perform a broad range of complex endovascular procedures, as well as CT- and ultrasound-guided interventions.
Active involvement in teaching residents.
