Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician for an opportunity with Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance. This position involves maintaining residential properties, completing repairs, and preparing vacant units for occupancy.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing repairs, including fixtures, sewer lines, and clogged drains.
- Troubleshoot and repair furnaces, hot water tanks, and basic electrical systems.
- Install and repair lighting, outlets, switches, doors, windows, cabinets, and flooring.
- Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance repairs.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
- Maintain common areas and ensure properties are clean and safe.
- Respond to maintenance requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain organized work areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance, construction, or related experience.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- No more than 6 points on driving record within 3 consecutive years.
