Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Batch Operations Technician to support daily batch operations, ensuring smooth processing within the system’s architecture. This role requires availability for rotating shifts, including overnight hours. Candidates will monitor batch processes, address exceptions, and collaborate with teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and monitor batch processes while verifying results.
- Analyze data interface processing exceptions and escalate unresolved issues.
- Support batch monitoring and recommend performance improvements.
- Collaborate on backup and recovery systems to meet business continuity requirements.
- Develop incident management procedures with application support teams.
Required Technical Skills:
- 5+ years as a GMI Operator with batch operations experience.
- Proficient in job scheduling and monitoring tools.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with business users and support teams.
- Experience with Unix, Mainframe, and Windows operating systems.
- Basic SQL programming and running shell scripts in a UNIX environment.
