We are searching for an ACH / Wire Specialist to provide onsite support for a local financial institution. This position is temporary with the potential to become permanent and pays $20 to $22 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Process ACH and wire transactions accurately and timely
- Support daily back‑office banking operations
- Review transaction data and documentation for accuracy
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and banking regulations
- Assist wire room and central operations functions
- Monitor processing queues and deadlines
- Research and resolve operational issues
- Maintain accurate operational records
- Support audits and operational reviews
- Perform additional operations duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business administration or finance preferred
- 2+ years of experience in banking or financial services
- ACH, wire, or banking back‑office experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow documented procedures and meet strict deadlines
- Comfortable working with banking systems
- Strong organizational skills
