Job Details:
\n
• 13-week contract assignment
\n • Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n • Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends
\n • No on-call requirements
\n • Patient ratio of 1:2
\n • Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit on the 4th floor
\n • Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse with RNs accommodating 1:1 or 1:2 ratio
\n • Perform typical procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
\n • Utilize equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound
\n • Use Meditech EMR system
\n • Must have EFM, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
\n • Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
\n • Internal monitor placement competency preferred
\n • Experience in Level IV high volume unit preferred
\n • Previous HCA assignment or employment preferred
\n • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
\n • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; T-shirts are not acceptable, solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts only

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit with 32 beds and a staff of 150 dedicated healthcare professionals. The unit is equipped with advanced technology including Novii monitoring systems and operates with consistent staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care. The facility offers permanent positions and supports a team-oriented environment focused on positive patient outcomes across a high-volume Labor and Delivery department.
