The Accounting Bookkeeper plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. This role involves tracking financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all bookkeeping activities comply with relevant standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare trial balances
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in payroll processing and tax filings
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end closing
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
