Schedule
Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Rotating Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off
What You'll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials, components, and finished products meet strict quality and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products using blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, optical comparators, and other measuring equipment
- Identify and document non-conforming materials and quality concerns
- Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Complete quality documentation and maintain accurate records
- Analyze inspection data using Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve product quality
- Train team members on inspection techniques and workmanship standards
- Monitor manufacturing processes and help troubleshoot quality issues
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools
- Basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and documentation systems
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments
Nice to Have
- Experience with SmartScope or vision inspection systems
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vadnais Heights, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
