Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial consultations to understand clients’ mental health concerns, backgrounds, and goals for treatment.

  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing best practices in counseling and therapeutic techniques that promote recovery.

  • Engage in ongoing education to remain current with advancements in counseling methodologies, ensuring patients receive effective and evidence-based interventions.

  • Maintain an inviting and supportive therapeutic environment during sessions, actively listening and providing empathetic guidance to encourage openness and healing.

  • Collaborate with other mental healthcare professionals when needed, providing referrals for additional services or specialized care to optimize patient health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional disorders. Your approach will be holistic and client-centered, focusing on building trust and rapport to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. You will also engage with diverse populations, addressing the unique cultural and social factors influencing mental wellness and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

  • Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts (LMHC).

  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse client backgrounds.

  • Strong capability in creating and executing tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs and goals.
  • \n

  • Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make appropriate referrals when necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in telehealth counseling is highly preferred, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient client documentation and care coordination. Additional training in trauma-informed care and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
