MEMCO is looking for Experienced Carpenters in the Nashville area!
Schedule: M-F; 6/6:30am-3pm
Pay: $19-$38/hr; BOE
Job Description:
We are hiring experienced carpenters at multiple skill levels
Job Duties:
- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Measure, lay out, and install construction materials
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Make cuts using saws and other carpentry tools
- Read and follow blueprints and project plans
- Install walls, framing, trim, blocking, and other carpentry products
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements
- Requirements:
- Proven carpentry experience
- Experience reading a tape measure
- Must have their own basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Advanced carpenters must have strong knowledge of construction methods and installations and strong communication skills
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
