Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Computer Repair Technicians for a growing technology and refurbishment operation in Irving, Texas.

This is not an assembly-line position. We are seeking individuals with hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, and testing desktop computers, laptops, and related technology equipment.

If you enjoy solving technical problems and bringing computer equipment back to working condition, this could be an excellent long-term opportunity.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:30 PM | Occasional voluntary Saturday work available with advance notice
  

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop computers
• Troubleshoot system failures and identify root causes
• Repair and replace computer components, including:
• • Hard drives and SSDs
  • RAM
  • Power supplies
  • Motherboards
  • Cooling systems
  • Internal peripherals
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems
• Perform computer imaging and software deployment
• Conduct quality assurance testing and final inspections
• Verify equipment functionality before shipment
• Accurately document repairs and technician notes
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper handling of high-value equipment
• Follow established safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Previous professional computer repair experience required
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
• Experience working with desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
• Familiarity with hardware installation and component replacement
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and work history
  

Preferred Qualifications

• A+ Certification
• Electronics repair experience
• Refurbishment or asset recovery experience
• Desktop Support experience
• Help Desk or IT Support background
• Experience with computer imaging and deployment
• Inventory control experience
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
• Safely handle high-value electronic equipment

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass client background screening requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
