Job Description
At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking an EPA-certified Service Manager to lead maintenance operations across a small, three-site residential portfolio in Philadelphia.
This is a true leadership seat, not a hands-only technician role. You’ll own maintenance performance end to end across a 180+ unit city cluster that includes scattered-site buildings and older housing stock with aging high-pressure HVAC systems. The right candidate is a process-driven supervisor who can lead a small technician team, stay sharp technically, and keep work orders, turns, vendors, and compliance moving smoothly across multiple locations.
If you'd like to be considered, please submit a resume for review.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across a 180+ unit, multi-property Philadelphia portfolio
- Supervise and develop a small team of maintenance technicians across multiple sites
- Oversee work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination
- Perform and/or direct HVAC work including high-pressure system troubleshooting and condenser replacements
- Maintain strong administrative execution across work order systems, email, and basic reporting
Qualifications
- Active EPA Section 608 certification
- 2+ years of experience supervising residential or multifamily maintenance teams
- Hands-on HVAC capability, including experience with high-pressure systems (including R-22 environments)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills (work orders, email, Excel or similar tools)
- Valid driver’s license and daily access to a personal vehicle (van or truck preferred)
Perks
- Total compensation range of approximately $67,000 to $75,000 (base plus bonus potential), with top-end total comp around $75,000
- Base pay approximately $32 to $35 per hour plus quarterly team bonus and annual merit bonus potential
- Possible signing bonus for a strong, qualified hire
- Fast hiring process with a single-round virtual interview
- Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO
