This contract opportunity starts in late February and continues through early June 2027, providing stability combined with the chance to transform communication for early learners and elementary-aged students. The position operates Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, with a full-time schedule and the support of a collaborative school team.
As the dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, your caseload will be split primarily between Early Childhood Special Education (ESCE) and Kindergarten through fifth grade. You will play a vital role in supporting students’ communication development while working closely with educators and families in an inclusive setting near Minneapolis.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in the state.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention practices and compliance with IEPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for assigned caseload.
- Develop and implement student-centered IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records as required by school guidelines.
- Participate in student evaluations and team meetings.
- Provide guidance and resources to families to support student progress.
