As a Communications Technician I, you’ll help install, maintain, and troubleshoot the technology our customers depend on every day, including internet, video, and voice services.
What You’ll Do:
- Install and maintain internet, video, and voice services
- Troubleshoot customer equipment and network issues
- Install wiring, cables, and network components
- Complete installations, disconnects, and service upgrades
- Assist with fiber and copper plant work
- Perform basic splicing and testing
- Maintain accurate service and billing records
- Provide friendly, reliable service to our customers
What You Bring:
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications and networking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read maps, blueprints, and work orders
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Valid driver’s license
Education & Experience:
A technical degree in communications or equivalent related field experience is required.
