Step into an impactful school-based role providing physical therapy services for elementary students during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity offers a consistent full-time schedule and the chance to support children's development in a lively educational setting. You’ll work with a dedicated team of other specialists and educators, focusing on elementary-aged students needing your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
- Understanding of IEP process and collaborative goal-setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy practices to meet each child’s unique needs
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation for commuting
What You’ll Contribute:
- Deliver individual and group therapy to students, targeting improved mobility, strength, and independence
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress toward personalized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for holistic student care
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and support to help create an inclusive educational environment
- Consult with faculty about strategies and adaptive equipment
