Summary of the Role:

\n


\n

BEPC is seeking an experienced Process Improvement Manager to support our customer’s business process and continuous improvement initiatives in Tucson, AZ.

\n


\n

This highly visible role will lead the development and implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), and continuous improvement strategies across the organization. The Process Improvement Manager will partner with leadership and cross-functional process owners to identify improvement opportunities, lead large-scale transformations, increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and establish sustainable ways of working.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of progressive continuous improvement experience and a Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification, along with demonstrated success leading complex business transformations. This position requires a proactive change leader who can influence stakeholders, develop internal capabilities, and create a lasting culture of operational excellence.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the organization's Business Process Management (BPM) strategy.
  • \n

  • Establish process mapping and change management frameworks to support process improvement initiatives.
  • \n

  • Define and communicate the business process vision while providing strategic direction for Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • \n

  • Lead large-scale Lean and Six Sigma business transformations aligned with organizational priorities.
  • \n

  • Identify end-to-end process improvement opportunities across the organization.
  • \n

  • Facilitate the design and implementation of new and improved business processes.
  • \n

  • Drive sustainable improvements in customer service, operational performance, accountability, compliance, and efficiency.
  • \n

  • Assess organizational performance and conduct root-cause analysis to identify performance issues.
  • \n

  • Identify and remove barriers that could prevent successful achievement of business objectives.
  • \n

  • Develop innovative solutions that improve financial performance, service delivery, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • \n

  • Build organizational capabilities that improve processes, increase efficiency, and generate measurable financial returns.
  • \n

  • Train, coach, and upskill internal teams in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • \n

  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • \n

  • Serve as a champion and role model for organizational change.
  • \n

  • Identify successful projects, lessons learned, and best practices that can be replicated across other areas of the organization.
  • \n

  • Partner closely with senior leadership, business leaders, and process owners to build support and alignment for improvement initiatives.
  • \n

  • Drive stakeholder engagement, transparency, and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
  • \n

  • Use data and performance metrics to support strategic, evidence-based decision-making.
  • \n

  • Document Lean processes, process changes, and improvement activities.
  • \n

  • Measure and communicate efficiency gains, cost reductions, financial returns, and other business outcomes.
  • \n

  • Prepare and present reports on continuous improvement initiatives and results to senior management.
  • \n

  • Utilize visual management tools to communicate progress, performance, and outcomes.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n


\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • \n

  • Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • \n

  • 7+ years of progressive experience developing and implementing successful continuous improvement programs.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • \n

  • Experience developing and implementing Business Process Management strategies.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of process mapping, root-cause analysis, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional business transformations.
  • \n

  • Experience identifying process inefficiencies and developing sustainable solutions.
  • \n

  • Ability to translate process improvements into measurable operational and financial results.
  • \n

  • Experience training, coaching, and developing teams in continuous improvement methodologies.
  • \n

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, business leaders, and process owners.
  • \n

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • \n

  • Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to communicate complex process improvement concepts effectively across organizational levels.
  • \n

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • \n

  • Lean Six Sigma or Master Black Belt certification.
  • \n

  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements within a regulated industry.
  • \n

  • Experience leading enterprise-level continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
  • \n

  • Experience developing change management frameworks.
  • \n

  • Experience using visual management tools to communicate performance and improvement outcomes.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable cost savings, efficiency gains, or financial returns through continuous improvement programs.
  • \n
