Electro-Mechanical Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician capable of completing multiple preventative maintenance tasks at our NW facility. This is a day shift position

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Level II or III to perform routine, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and complete necessary repairs with supervision
Inspect facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and safety hazards
Receive maintenance requests and emergency repairs from Level II or III and complete tasks
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection logs
Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, or contractors as needed for specialized repairs
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and applicable codes
Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and materials
Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and facility upkeep
Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or GED

· One (1) to three (3) years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related technical role

· Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC systems a plus
