About the Role:
We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal who will be responsible for managing and coordinating complex litigation matters, supporting attorneys through advanced legal and factual research, trial preparation, and the drafting of high-quality legal documents and reports. This role also includes mentoring/training junior associates, leading special projects, contributing to departmental initiatives, and serving as a subject-matter resource across the firm. Senior Litigation Paralegals may be assigned matters in any state (9 in-total) or jurisdiction in which the firm practices.
Litigation, Trial Preparation & Case Management
- Take a leadership role in organizing, managing, and maintaining essential case information to support legal and business objectives, including docket management, evidence collection, trial preparation, and ongoing case monitoring.
- Assist attorneys in all phases of trial preparation, including:
-Organizing and preparing trial binders and exhibits
-Managing exhibit lists, witness lists, and deposition designations
-Coordinating logistics for hearings, trials, and evidentiary proceedings
-Supporting attorneys during hearings and trial as assigned
- Maintain and update active case files in the firm’s database and applicable client systems.
- Calendar and track deadlines, hearings, and key litigation milestones.
- File pleadings and documents in courts across multiple states and jurisdictions in accordance with applicable rules.
- Complete service of pleadings and other legal documents as required
Legal Research & Document Preparation
- Conduct advanced legal and factual research, analyze findings, and clearly communicate results to managing attorneys, internal counsel, and clients.
- Compile, prepare, and summarize relevant materials for use in discovery, trial, and the preparation of complaints, motions, briefs, affidavits, agreements, pretrial memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case file management, including research, document production, accuracy reviews, and cost tracking.
Client & Team Collaboration
- Lead client communications to build strong working relationships, obtain and provide necessary information, resolve issues, and address business needs.
- Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with attorneys and team members to understand objectives and help execute litigation and trial strategies.
- Multitask, prioritize, and transition efficiently between competing assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership, Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, increased efficiency, and staff development within litigation and trial workflows.
- Foster collaboration by leveraging experience to establish best practices, provide guidance, and share institutional knowledge across departments.
- Serve as a key resource for legal education, procedural support, issue-spotting, and trial readiness within the litigation team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and project-based tasks as assigned in support of firm and departmental objectives.

- 5+ years of Foreclosure/Creditors Rights experience (Required)
- 3+ years of Litigation Experience (Required)
- High Attention to Detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
