Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician
Job Description
We're hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to join a well-established equipment manufacturer's team based in Western Massachusetts — covering customer sites throughout New England.

You'll be out in the field servicing wheeled, truck-mounted, and track-mounted (crawler) heavy machinery used in road and civil construction environments.
\n
\n
Comparable in scale and complexity to Caterpillar equipment, this is heavy, serious machinery.
\n
\n
You'll diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on-site.
\n
\n
Compensation & Benefits
\n
$40–$45/hour direct hire (higher per hour for candidates with specialty industrial equipment experience), 1.5x overtime pay.

Long service days often mean a 4-day work week (i.e. Fridays off)

What we're looking for
\n
3+ years as a heavy equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic, or field mechanic on wheeled, truck-mounted, or crawler machinery.
\n
Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
\n
Willingness to complete pre-employment physical and fit-for-duty screening.
