POSITION: Bilingual Immigration Pro Bono Coordinator (Global Law Firm)

LOCATION: New York City (Hybrid)

COMP PACKAGE: Base up to $90K, Full Benefits, Bonus, 401K+, Health Care Coverage, Etc.


Summary for Bilingual Immigration Pro Bono Coordinator:

Join a top global law firm in a newly created role supporting the Firm’s growing pro bono practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a bilingual professional with immigration experience to join a collaborative team and contribute to meaningful initiatives that make a tangible impact. You will work closely with senior pro bono leadership, attorneys, and legal service organizations to coordinate immigration and community-focused programs while gaining exposure to a sophisticated, global law firm environment.


Responsibilities for Bilingual Immigration Pro Bono Coordinator:

  • Provide administrative, operational, and logistical support for the Firm’s pro bono practice and immigration-related initiatives.
  • Support the Head Pro Bono Counsel and Senior Pro Bono Manager with ongoing and special pro bono programs and projects.
  • Assist with the development and coordination of new pro bono programming and initiatives.
  • Maintain the Firm’s pro bono database, including tracking matters, opening and closing cases, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate the posting and distribution of pro bono opportunities and assist with associate and summer associate pro bono programs.
  • Support reporting, surveys, program metrics, submissions, and inquiries from legal service organizations and clearinghouses.
  • Provide administrative support for the Firm’s Children’s Hospital Program and other community-focused initiatives while staying current on pro bono best practices and opportunities.


Requirements for Bilingual Immigration Pro Bono Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1+ year of relevant immigration experience within a law firm, legal services organization, nonprofit, or similar environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in immigration, social justice, and pro bono work with a genuine desire to make an impact.
