As a Cocktail Server:
You have an outgoing attitude and a passion for beer and handcrafted cocktails. Hospitality is in your DNA, and you take pride in creating a great atmosphere and experience for your guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests courteously and quickly and maintain friendly, helpful, and positive communication with guests always.
- Present a professional appearance and proper behavior, including well-kept clothing & hygiene.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and possess the ability to answer questions regarding our items and their preparations.
- Facilitate drink orders while guests are waiting or attending an event/live music event, ensuring drinks get served quickly.
- Accurately record all transactions and keep track of open tabs and make sure to close tabs quickly.
- Remove empty plates and glassware promptly and coordinate with bussers for assistance during busy times.
- Assist bartenders and servers when applicable.
- Have a strong knowledge of cocktails and educate guests on the bar’s inventory
- Perform any other work-related duties specified by management
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a TABC and Food Handlers certification before employment begins
- One year of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
- Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be accountable to yourself and to our customers.
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
- POS (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
- Physical requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time; capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts.
