Role Description
\n
This is a full-time, Associate Attorney role based in Pasadena, CA - Hybrid Remote is available. The Associate Attorney will handle a plaintiff-side employment law caseload, including investigating claims, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and managing cases from intake through resolution. Daily responsibilities include client meetings, advising clients on their rights and options, negotiating with opposing counsel, and preparing for and attending hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as needed. The role involves close collaboration with the managing attorney and team members to develop case strategies that align with the firm’s commitment to strong, client-centered advocacy and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with specific experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law.
- Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice tailored to individual client situations.
- Proficiency in legal Research, including case law analysis, statutory interpretation, and drafting memoranda.
- Effective Negotiation skills for settlement discussions, mediations, and interactions with opposing counsel.
- Active license to practice law in California, in good standing with the State Bar.
- 3+ years of experience in employment law, civil litigation, or related practice areas preferred.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including strong drafting, courtroom, and client communication abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side representation, workplace fairness, and ethical practice.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with case management software and standard law firm technology tools is beneficial.

Pay Rate & Benefits
\n
Many of our attorneys make more than their BigLaw counterparts. Our salary range $125,000 - $300,000 a year + bonuses based on settlements.
