We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team! You will provide routine care to a gentleman who benefits from participating in the life of the community. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building a genuine relationship with the one you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets his needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist client to doctor appointments
- Ensure client is going out into the community and participating in activities daily
- Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
- Build a relationship with client by conversing with him to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
Qualifications
- Drivers license required
- Vehicle -Driving is required
- CPR certification required
