A-Line Staffing is now hiring a HCBS Case Manager / Service Coordinator

  • Pay - $25.00 an hour
  • Schedule – M-F 8am-4pm
  • Benefits – active after 90 days of employment

Key Responsibilities

  • Review electronically submitted critical incident reports to ensure appropriate actions are taken to protect the health, safety, and welfare of HCBS participants.
  • Work with Service Coordinators and Managed Care Organizations to obtain additional information, complete investigations, and establish appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor follow-up activities to ensure critical incidents are investigated, addressed, and closed within required timeframes.
  • Analyze complex Excel reports and other data submitted by MCOs to evaluate compliance with CMS requirements.
  • Provide feedback and technical assistance regarding performance, compliance, remediation, and incident management.
  • Review service plans for participants with complex needs and provide technical guidance to Service Coordinators, participants, caregivers, and service providers.
  • Respond to participant concerns, program inquiries, complaints, and other matters involving HCBS programs.
  • Investigate complaints and critical incidents and assist in developing appropriate resolutions.
  • Prepare written responses to legislative inquiries and other requests for information.
  • Interpret established policies, procedures, regulations, and precedent to provide guidance and consultation to stakeholders.
  • Identify operational issues that may affect the delivery of appropriate and cost-effective services and recommend potential solutions.
  • Assist with the development and revision of OLTL policies, procedures, operational manuals, work plans, regulations, and program directives.
  • Analyze trends involving service plans, critical incidents, program performance, and other statistical information.
  • Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and analyses to support program administration and management.
  • Participate in developing and delivering training to OLTL staff, providers, stakeholders, and other constituents.
  • Participate in internal and external workgroups addressing Medicaid waiver amendments, renewals, policies, regulations, system changes, training, and program operations.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance, remediation, and problem-solving when necessary.
  • Attend team, Division, and Bureau meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) programs, including OLTL Medicaid waivers and the Act 150 Program.
  • Knowledge of physical disabilities and associated limitations involving Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, HCSIS, SAMS/WellSky, and e-CIS.
