Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a mid level or senior Patent Attorney with a graduate level (M.S., Ph.D.) background in life sciences based in Boston or New York. Responsibilities include drafting and filing patent applications, and managing patent portfolios. The Patent Attorney will also provide legal counsel on patentability, handle due diligence reviews, and advise on matters related to patent law and intellectual property in life sciences.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in all aspects of Patent Prosecution
- Experience in performing Due Diligence and analyzing intellectual property portfolios
- Strong communication and legal writing skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to a state bar
- Relevant background and experience in life sciences, including a technical or scientific degree in fields such as biology, chemistry, or related areas.
- Law firm experience preferred.
