Compensation
$32–$45+ per hour (based on experience and performance)
Our performance-based compensation program rewards productivity, quality workmanship, and the value you bring to our customers.
- Top Mobile Technician earned $164,135 in 2025
- Average Mobile Technician earns over $100,000 annually
- 90-day pay guarantee to help you transition into your new role with confidence

What You'll Do
As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you'll represent National Fleet Management by delivering professional, high-quality repairs directly at our customers' locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty commercial trucks.
- Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs.
- Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
- Accurately document repairs, parts used, and completed work.
- Maintain inventory and organization of your company-provided service truck.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building strong relationships with fleet customers.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
What Makes You Successful
We're looking for technicians who enjoy solving problems, working independently, and taking pride in delivering quality service.
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to work independently while managing daily responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
- A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism.
- A positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
