Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Schedule variations may be communicated upon hire.

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems ranging from 24VDC controls to 480VAC three-phase industrial equipment.

  • Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance activities with supervisors and managers.

  • Prioritize and schedule equipment repairs.

  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, relocations, and modifications.

  • Perform facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.

  • Support safety programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, emergency lighting inspections, and confined space procedures.

  • Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and shop supplies.

  • Monitor hazardous waste storage and coordinate disposal activities.

  • Maintain chemical storage areas and respond to chemical spills as necessary.

  • Maintain exterior grounds, including snow and ice removal when needed.

  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Skilled trades training or related technical coursework preferred.

  • Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and measuring instruments.

  • Must have own mechanic's tools.

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

  • Industrial electrical systems

  • 480VAC three-phase power

  • 24VDC control systems

  • Preventive maintenance programs

  • Manufacturing equipment troubleshooting

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
