Location
Fair Oaks, CA — Hybrid, with flexibility for the right candidate and a remote radius of up to approximately 100 miles.
Note:
Must be a licensed California attorney with a valid driver's license, 10+ probate cases handled, and experience preparing or handling 100+ revocable living trusts. Candidates must have no disciplinary issues with the California State Bar or any other licensing agency.

Job Description
- Advise clients on estate planning, trusts, probate, and related wealth and legacy planning matters.
- Prepare, review, and update revocable living trusts and comprehensive estate planning documents.
- Manage probate matters from initial strategy through administration and resolution.
- Guide clients and families through complex estate and trust administration issues.
- Identify opportunities to protect assets, minimize unnecessary probate exposure, and accomplish clients' long-term goals.
- Apply strong legal judgment to matters involving trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related planning documents.
- Communicate directly with clients in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver a high-quality client experience and keep matters moving efficiently.
- Apply knowledge of California estate planning and probate law to develop practical solutions for clients.
- Bring an ownership mindset to your caseload, client relationships, and overall contribution to the practice.
Qualifications
- Active California State Bar license in good standing.
- 10+ probate cases handled independently or with significant responsibility.
- Experience with 100+ revocable living trusts.
- Strong estate planning, trust, probate, and client counseling experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters.
- Understanding of California Medi-Cal and long-term care asset rules is a strong plus.
- Experience in a law firm, in-house legal environment, or solo practice will be considered based on demonstrated experience and results.
