Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Little Rock, AR branch location. We are looking for a Working Shop Foreman with trailer mechanic experience to join our team of trailer professionals. \n

Responsibilities: \n

- \n
- Lead supervisor in heavy duty equipment shop. Train and guide all staff mechanics with varying levels of skill with internal and customer repairs.
- Works alongside mechanics to ensure they are performing timely, quality jobs. Work to identify, resolve and repair cause of breakdowns.
- Estimate cost of repairs and prepares itemized service order, listing costs of parts and labor.
- Serve as a liaison between management, mechanics and customers.
- Oversee the work of mechanics to achieve excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for enforcing all safety procedures at all times to help prevent accidental injuries and damage to heavy duty equipment.
- Direct, assist and structure shop activities. Responsible for keeping schedule for shop repairs fluent and efficient.
- Communicate with customers regarding their options, so they can make informed decisions about what work they want performed.
- Perform tasks in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company polices, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.

Requirements:\n
\n

- Must have min 3-5 years meaningful / practical work experience as a heavy equipment mechanic with a proven background in a supervisory role.
- Must have a strong knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers and/or tractors and mechanical aptitude.
- Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, results-oriented, problem-solving attitude.
- Must have good communication skills and be proficient on the computer.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies.
- Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
