Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Experience with diverse learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and adaptive curriculum
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, students, and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for a range of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction for students based on IEPs and assessment data
- Work closely with general education teachers and other specialists to foster inclusion
- Monitor and track student progress, making data-driven recommendations for instructional adjustments
- Maintain an organized, supportive, and safe classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student achievements and strategies for continued growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
