PHARMACY BENEFITS COORDINATOR

Location: Las Vegas, NV (89147) | Onsite


COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Pay $22-$24/hour (based on experience and certification level)

• Full-time, W2 employment

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST

• Start Date: 8/31/2026


ROLE IMPACT

The Pharmacy Benefits Coordinator plays a key role in helping members access essential medications quickly and cost-effectively. This position bridges communication between patients, healthcare providers, and partner pharmacies to facilitate prescription approvals and ensure patients receive timely medication support. Success in this role is defined by empathy, precision, and proactive service that enhances medication adherence and improves patient outcomes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the main point of contact for members seeking medication support or patient assistance resources.

• Partner with prescribers, pharmacies, and patient assistance programs to complete authorizations and secure timely medication delivery.

• Manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and program standards.

• Document all member interactions accurately and provide consistent follow-up until resolution.

• Work collaboratively with internal departments to maintain program goals and service excellence.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Active and valid Pharmacy Technician License or Certification (any U.S. state) required

• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, or patient support call center environments

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient experience

• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Salesforce (or equivalent CRM platforms)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-volume setting
