JOB SUMMARY:

- Provide technical expertise to resolve user problems both software and hardware related on a daily basis.
- Prepare and install equipment and software for end users as directed by management.
- Manage and document systems configurations.
- Interact and communicate with the user community.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices.
- Supports administration of servers.
- Manages all system back-up and restore protocol.
- Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
- Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
- Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
- Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of networking essentials.
- Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed.
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
\n
High school education. College preferred.
\n
WORK EXPERIENCE:
\n
Three or more years experience maintaining Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory administration
\n
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
\n
CNA or MCSE preferred
\n
A+ Certification
\n
\n
\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

1. Systems: Windows, Cisco Systems, and VMware
\n

- Networking: Switches, Routers, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, , TCP/IP, DNS, VPN and DHCP
