Are you an Electrical Engineer (PE) that has experience working with buildings? AEC Resources is hiring an Electrical Engineer!
This is a brand-new position designing electrical systems for commercial architecture projects. This role will entail design, engineering, and some light project management of building systems.

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer | Building Systems to join our team and play a key role in designing high-performance electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities. - Salary commensurate with experience: $90,000 - $135,000 per year

- Current projects include healthcare, housing, clinics, retail, office space, education, manufacturing, and more
Responsibilities:
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems that make buildings safer, smarter, and more efficient
- Prepare electrical engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to develop integrated building systems
- Perform site assessments, field verifications, and system troubleshooting to ensure seamless project execution
- Support project management efforts by coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders
About You:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering degree, or graduate degree
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE), or an EIT that can become a PE within 12 months
- Knowledge of power, lighting, and special systems for building projects
- Understanding of NEC, energy codes, and industry standards.
- Revit and/or AutoCAD proficient
