Product Development Systems Engineer – Battery Systems

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical/Systems Engineer to develop advanced battery systems from concept through prototype, testing, and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop battery system architecture, requirements, and interfaces
- Work with BMS, battery modules/packs, power electronics, and electrical systems
- Review electrical schematics, wiring, protection, and component selections
- Lead system integration, prototype testing, debugging, and validation
- Perform functional safety, risk analysis, and fault/protection assessments
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support design reviews
- Manage system requirements and verification/validation activities
What We’re Looking For:
- BS/MS in Electrical, Systems, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering
- 7+ years of complex product development experience
- Strong experience with Battery/BMS, electrical architecture, power electronics, and system integration
- Experience taking products from development through testing and validation
- Requirements management experience; DOORS or Codebeamer is a plus
- Aerospace, defense, automotive, or other mission-critical experience preferred
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting and technical leadership skills
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required
