Job Overview
We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our commercial building running smoothly day to day. You'll handle everything from basic HVAC upkeep and plumbing issues to electrical repairs and general building maintenance, making sure the property stays safe, functional, and well-maintained. If you're someone who takes pride in a well-run building and can troubleshoot problems as they come up, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic HVAC upkeep (filter changes, thermostat checks, minor troubleshooting) along with electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs
- Troubleshoot building issues and make repairs using schematics and wiring diagrams as needed
- Complete preventive maintenance rounds and respond to tenant/facility repair requests
- Document repairs and maintenance using a CMMS/work-order system
- Handle light carpentry, painting, and general building repairs as they come up
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized work (including major HVAC repairs)
- Keep tools, parts, and work areas organized
- Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Support building upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations
What You Need
- Hands-on experience in commercial or facilities building maintenance
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, along with electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently and stay safety-minded on the job
- Reliable, with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic
