Job DescriptionJob Title: Life Enrichment Specialist (Caregiver)

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 4pm-9pm 30 hours

Location: Pineville, Ky

About Us:

At Golden Years, we believe that respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care are at the heart of meaningful work. Our mission is to enrich lives by fostering connection, dignity, and joy for those we serve. We’re looking for a compassionate Life Enrichment Specialist to join our team and make a difference in one of our clients’ daily life.

About the Role:

Female Caregiver Needed – Compassionate, Reliable, and Motivating

A family in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a female caregiver to provide support. The ideal caregiver will be patient, encouraging, and dependable, helping to promote daily activity and independence.

Job Details:

No smoking.

One dog and one cat in the home.

Transportation/errands: Caregiver may be asked to provide some transportation and run errands as needed.

Home environment: The home is lived in and generally manageable. It is not described as messy, dirty, or unsanitary.

Client mobility and safety: Client is ambulatory but needs assistance at times depending on how she is feeling that day. She is considered a fall risk, so the caregiver should remain attentive to safety, offer support when needed, and help reduce fall hazards in the home.

Other household members: The client lives with her husband, Jarve Miller; her son, Joshua Miller; and two teenage grandchildren.

Current In-Home Needs

The client has fibromyalgia and lupus, which may cause fluctuating pain, fatigue, weakness, and reduced ability to complete household tasks on certain days. Her level of need may vary from day to day.

Caregiver duties may include:

Running errands and assisting with occasional transportation needs

Bringing groceries, supplies, and other purchased items into the home

Putting away groceries, household items, and other delivered or purchased items

Sweeping and mopping floors

Washing and putting away dishes

Completing light household tasks as needed

Assisting with general household upkeep when the client is experiencing increased pain, fatigue, or limited mobility

Providing standby assistance or support as needed due to fall-risk concerns

Helping the client maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Ideal Caregiver Match

A dependable, patient, and observant caregiver would likely be the best fit. Because the client’s symptoms can vary, the caregiver should be flexible and responsive to her needs each day, while being comfortable working around a dog and cat and in a home with several family members present.

If you are a compassionate caregiver who enjoys helping others stay active and comfortable at home, we would love to hear from you!
