Role Description The Car Detailer role at Hertz in Fort Smith, AR is a full-time, on-site position focused on maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of rental vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include washing, vacuuming, and detailing interiors and exteriors, including cleaning windows, upholstery, and vehicle surfaces to meet company standards. The Car Detailer will inspect vehicles for damage or wear, report issues, and ensure cars are properly fueled and ready for customers. This role also supports the rental team by moving vehicles on the lot as needed and providing courteous, timely assistance to customers and coworkers. The position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and effective communication with the local team.

Qualifications

- Strong auto care skills, including Auto Detailing and Car Wash experience, with attention to interior and Exterior cleanliness and presentation.
- Customer-focused abilities, including reliable Customer Service and clear Communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Hot Springs, AR, including standing, bending, and moving vehicles safely for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and ability to operate a variety of vehicle types.
- Dependable time management, basic problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures consistently.
- Previous experience in automotive, rental, or cleaning services is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
