Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n

AWS Infrastructure Administration

\n

    \n
  • Administer and support enterprise AWS environments across multiple accounts, VPCs, regions, and availability zones.
  • \n

  • Manage core AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, RDS, ELB/ALB/NLB, Route 53, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, and Systems Manager.
  • \n

  • Provision, configure, patch, and maintain Windows and Linux servers hosted in AWS.
  • \n

  • Manage VPC networking including subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, NAT gateways, and Internet gateways.
  • \n

  • Administer IAM users, roles, policies, and permissions in accordance with enterprise security standards.
  • \n

  • Assist with AWS cost optimization, resource utilization, tagging, and governance.
  • \n

\n

Apache NiFi Administration & Data Flows

\n

    \n
  • Administer, support, and maintain enterprise Apache NiFi clusters in production environments.
  • \n

  • Manage NiFi flows, processors, queues, templates, parameter contexts, and controller services.
  • \n

  • Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of NiFi platforms.
  • \n

  • Monitor NiFi platform health, data throughput, latency, back-pressure issues, and cluster node stability.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot flow failures, connection bottlenecks, and processor errors.
  • \n

  • Manage NiFi security configurations, including TLS/SSL certificates, user access control policies, and secure multi-tenant settings.
  • \n

  • Tune Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and cluster performance for high-volume data streaming.
  • \n

Operations, Monitoring & Support

\n

    \n
  • Monitor infrastructure and pipeline health, CPU/memory utilization, storage, and system availability using CloudWatch and enterprise tools.
  • \n

  • Implement infrastructure and data-flow automation using Python, PowerShell, shell scripting, or AWS CLI.
  • \n

  • Participate in incident, problem, and change-management processes, providing production support through ServiceNow/ITSM platforms.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain operational runbooks, architecture documentation, and troubleshooting guides for both AWS and NiFi operations.
  • \n

  • Perform knowledge transfer and support transition to the client's internal engineering/operations teams.
  • \n

\n

Required Skills

\n

    \n
  • 9+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with strong hands-on AWS cloud administration.
  • \n

  • 5+ years of specific hands-on experience administering, clustering, and supporting Apache NiFi in enterprise production environments.
  • \n

  • Deep knowledge of NiFi components: processors, controller services, provenance repositories, and cluster management.
  • \n

  • Strong hands-on expertise with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ELB, and CloudWatch.
  • \n

  • Strong Linux/Unix administration experience, log analysis, and process management.
  • \n

  • Solid understanding of AWS networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, security groups, NACLs).
  • \n

  • Experience managing security standards, including SSL/TLS certificates and access control lists within AWS and NiFi.
  • \n

  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash/Shell.
  • \n

  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root-cause-analysis skills for complex distributed environments.
  • \n

  • Experience working in enterprise production-support environments with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • \n

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and knowledge-transfer skills.
  • \n
