DESCRIPTION
Are you friendly, reliable, and have cash handling experience? Come work for Elgin Recycling!
This is a full time position. The working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, and a half day on Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
In this position you will be paying our customers money for the scrap metal and other recycled material brought in to our facility. You will also be assisting our management team with a number of administrative tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
- Friendly / Outgoing / Likes to work with people
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to Detail
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Cash Handling Experience (Opening and closing drawers, Paying out Customers)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred but not a requirement
- Computer savvy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Sheets
- The ability to work in both extreme heat and cold weather conditions is required
- Normal range of vision, depth perception and hearing is needed
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach above the shoulders is required
