Job Title: P&C Advisor

Duration: 6-12 months contract (Possibility of Extension)

Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70826 or Wayne, NJ 07470 (Hybrid) 3 days onsite

\n

Pay: $35-42.5/hr on W2 without any benefits/holiday/vacation

\n

\n

JOB DESCRIPTION: The P&C Advisor will support Castrol’s from hypercare, acting as the first point of contact for employees and line managers within an assigned business unit or function. The role will provide practical support on people-related queries, help resolve issues quickly and ensure employees can continue to work effectively during the transition.

\n

Working closely with CoEs, P&C Operations, People Relations and business leaders, the role will help maintain business continuity, identify emerging themes and support the embedding of new Castrol processes, policies and ways of working.

\n

Key Accountabilities

\n

Hypercare and Separation Support

\n

Act as the primary P&C contact for employees and managers during the post-Day 1 hypercare period.

\n

Provide timely guidance on people-related topics arising from the separation, including policies, systems, benefits, payroll, reporting lines and employment matters.

\n

Track, triage and resolve issues, escalating risks or recurring themes where required.

\n

Support the transition of people processes from bp to Castrol operating models and service providers.

\n

Employee and Manager Support

\n

Advise employees and line managers on day-to-day people matters, processes and ways of working.

\n

Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand challenges and maintain engagement through the transition.

\n

Help employees and managers adopt new tools, processes and policies introduced as part of separation.

\n

Business Continuity and Issue Resolution

\n

Partner with CoEs, P&C Operations, Reward, Talent Acquisition, Digital, IT, Payroll and external providers to resolve issues and maintain critical people processes.

\n

Coordinate support for more complex employee cases and organisational issues.

\n

Escalate high-risk issues and provide clear updates through to resolution.

\n

Stakeholder Management

\n

Build strong working relationships with leaders, managers and key stakeholders across Castrol.

\n

Share employee sentiment, risks and emerging issues with the wider P&C organisation.

\n

Work collaboratively with P&C teams to deliver a consistent employee experience.

\n

Continuous Improvement

\n

Identify opportunities to reduce employee friction points and improve service delivery.

\n

Capture lessons learned from hypercare and support improvements to P&C processes.

\n

Contribute to guidance materials, FAQs, manager toolkits and employee communications.

\n


\n

Essential Experience and Skills

\n

Experience in an HR or P&C advisory, coordinator or generalist role.

\n

Strong customer service mindset and ability to manage high volumes of queries.

\n

Experience supporting organisational change, transformation or business transitions is desirable.

\n

Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

\n

Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

\n

Good organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence working with HR systems and employee data.

\n
