Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy equipment
  • Strong knowledge of diesel systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, and fuel systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot engine or system issues using diagnostic tools
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as ASE Diesel Certification or OEM-specific training (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and complex hydraulic systems
  • Conduct comprehensive repairs and rebuilds of diesel engines, transmissions, and rotary equipment components
  • Execute routine and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure fleet reliability
  • Oversee calibration and adjustment of engine controls, fuel injection systems, and emission control devices
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to develop repair plans, estimate repair costs, and order necessary parts
