Why This Opportunity
\n
This civil engineering role covers site development from master planning and site selection through final grading, utilities, and stormwater design. You will coordinate with mechanical, structural, architectural, and electrical team members on the same site.

\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
• Site development, site master planning and site selection
\n
• Underground utility routing and site space planning
\n
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain system design
\n
• Analysis and design of gravity wastewater systems
\n
• Final grading plans, including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing
\n
• Erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater pollution prevention plans, supporting permit approval
\n
• Research and compliance with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for design and construction
\n
• Stormwater analysis and modeling in software such as StormCAD and CivilStorm
\n
\n
Required Qualifications
\n
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience
\n
• Professional Engineer (PE) license. We prefer candidates who already hold one and we will also consider candidates who can obtain a PE license within six months of starting.
\n
• Advanced Civil 3D experience
\n
• Experience with stormwater analysis and modeling using StormCAD and/or CivilStorm
\n
• Experience designing underground utility routing, site space planning, storm drain systems, gravity wastewater systems, grading plans, and erosion and sediment control
\n
• Ability to lead a site civil team on a project and collaborate remotely with other discipline team members
\n
• Experience working on a site or facility with a multidisciplinary team
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n
• Data center experience, including site selection, development, and master planning for large industrial sites
\n
\n
Work Environment
\n
• Hybrid, with onsite presence in Omaha, NE at least 2 days per week
\n
• Relocation assistance is possible and we would allow time for a candidate to relocate
\n
\n
