Cloud and Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 12 Months +
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to the New York, NY office.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PgMP, CSM, or a relevant Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
- Position is 3 days onsite in Manhattan, NY, Strong Agile and Infra PM is required.
Role Summary
- Lead and oversee the successful planning and execution of complex, large-scale Cloud and Infrastructure programs.
- Ensure all initiatives (migration, optimization, upgrades) align with the company's strategic goals for technical stability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Coordinate multiple project teams and manage expectations across senior business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Delivery
- Program Leadership: Define, plan, and manage the end-to-end program lifecycle for major initiatives (e.g., migration to AWS/Azure/GCP, data center consolidation, network upgrades).
- Execution & Governance: Oversee multiple Project Managers, ensuring rigorous adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards (using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Financial Management: Monitor and control program budgets, forecasting future expenditures, and ensuring delivery within financial constraints.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, cloud providers, and third-party contractors for seamless service delivery and project completion.
Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Stakeholder Point-of-Contact: Serve as the primary contact for executive sponsors, technology leadership, and end-user teams in the NY office.
- Communication: Provide regular, high-quality status updates and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Risk & Resource Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks, resolve complex issues, and manage resource allocation across the program portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, specifically managing large-scale IT infrastructure, Cloud, or Digital Transformation programs.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of key infrastructure concepts, including:
- Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Networking, storage, and data center operations.
- Cybersecurity principles.
