Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician – 3rd Shift: Freeport, Illinois Our customer in Freeport, Illinois, is seeking dependable individuals to join their team. We're recruiting for a Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift position to work full-time on overnight hours. As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist with machine pump-outs, perform basic handyman-type repairs, and help keep operations running smoothly throughout the facility. Training will take place on 1st shift before transitioning to 3rd shift. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Perform machine pump-outs and clean equipment as needed.
• Complete basic maintenance and handyman-type repairs using hand tools.
• Assist with general facility upkeep and maintenance tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Work in manufacturing environments that may involve dirt, grease, and other industrial conditions.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
• Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when required.
• Comfortable performing dirty or physically demanding work.
• Must be able to pass a 4-panel drug test.
• No felony convictions within the last 7 years; no violent criminal history.

Pay for Maintenance Technician: Starting at $19/hr. Maintenance Technician Benefits:
