Busy law firm seeking a NJ barred attorney with family experience to join their team
Hybrid remote options
- Provide comprehensive counsel and legal support to clients in matters of Family
- Law including divorce, child custody, spousal support, domestic violence and matters involving the Division of Child Protection and Permanency including Fact Findings, Title 30 Summary Hearings, Permanency Hearings, Dodd Removals, OAL Appeals, and other related areas.
- Analyze, draft, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents relevant to Family Law and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate on their behalf.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of New Jersey State and Federal Laws relevant to Family Law and DCP&P. advice during stressful times.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, offering them reassurance and empathetic.
- Contribute positively to the Williams Law Group culture.
- Actively manage a case load of Family Law/DCP&P matters.
- Manage and delegate legal work to a paralegal.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed billing entries.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and in good standing.
- 3-5 years of experience practicing Family Law/DCP&P.
- Trial experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling sensitive Family Law/DCP&P matters with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
