Full-Time Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 60-unit apartment community in Hudson, Florida. If you take pride in quality work, treat residents with respect, and stay organized when the day gets busy, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Complete service requests and routine maintenance promptly and to a high standard
• Log completed work orders in our smartphone-based service app
• Perform unit inspections, punch-out work, and preventative maintenance
• Schedule and coordinate vendors for unit turns, rehabs, and special projects
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents and vendors
• Help manage maintenance expenses and stay within budget
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
• Meet with third-party inspectors (insurance, code compliance, lenders) as needed

What You Bring

• 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience
• Solid working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
• Comfort using a smartphone and mobile apps for work orders
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, including appliances
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a personal cell phone
• Basic HVAC service and diagnostic experience

Nice to Have

• HVAC and/or EPA certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Schedule

• Full-time, generally Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Emergency On Call (evenings and weekends) required as needed
• Overtime may be needed for emergencies, evenings, weekends, and holidays
