- Performs Configuration Management (CM) activities supporting the design, development, and production of complex systems and equipment for U.S. government customers.
- Ensures CM processes are implemented according to the program Configuration Management Plan and customer requirements.
- Coordinates engineering documentation, drawings, production specifications, schedules, contract modifications, and technical data packages.
- Processes and controls changes to CAD models, engineering drawings, software, part data, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within enterprise PDM systems.
- Maintains CM logs, drawing assignments, variance tracking, configuration status accounting, production baselines, and CM metrics.
- Facilitates Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and maintains meeting records and configuration documentation.
- Supports ISO, CMMI, DCMA, quality, and corporate audits while working with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams.

- Experience with EIA-649 Configuration Management standards.
- Experience with GEIA-859 Data Management standards.
- Windchill or similar PDM/PLM tools.
- Configuration Management productivity metrics and reporting.
- Experience with CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs, software/product data, and technical data packages.
- Configuration Control Board (CCB) facilitation.
- Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).
- Production baseline establishment and maintenance.
- Experience supporting ISO, CMMI, DCMA, quality, or corporate audits.
- Strong planning, forecasting, analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to interpret project schedules and milestone requirements.

Experience Required

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Configuration Management or a relevant discipline.
- Hands-on experience supporting configuration changes, documentation, product data, engineering changes, or related CM activities.

Education Required

- Associate's degree with 4 years of experience in Configuration Management or a relevant discipline.
\n
\n
Preferred: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Configuration Management or a relevant discipline.
