Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

\n

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required. Expected patient ratio 1:4. Floating between units as needed to meet operational needs.

  • 36-40 hours of orientation provided with no parking fees

  • 13-week assignment with opportunity to care for diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • \n

Requirements:\n

    \n
  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
  • \n

  • Minimum 1 year of neurology nursing experience required
  • \n

  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • \n

  • Epic charting system experience required
  • \n

  • Proficiency with NIH stroke scale and post-surgical neurology patient care
  • \n

  • Experience with telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • \n

  • Skills in craniotomy care, CVA management, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and neuro stepdown
  • \n

  • Competency with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring
  • \n

  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • \n

  • Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • \n
