Job Description
An international manufacturer of industrial injection molding machinery is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Regional) in the Newark, NJ region to maintain their products. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with the installation, maintenance, and upkeep of industrial-grade injection molding machinery on customer sites. A valid passport and driver’s license with good driving record are required. Field Service Engineer (Regional) Responsibilities:

- \n
- Travel to customer locations to provide installations/repairs to Injection Molding Machinery in service circulation in commercial and industrial settings
- Assist with in-house maintenance services, such as modification and reassembly of equipment as needed
- Train customer personnel on function and upkeep of equipment
- Perform phone support duties when not traveling
- Communicate with engineering department to help customer inquiries
- Be on call for emergency maintenance needs
- Other duties as assigned

Field Service Engineer (Regional) Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Five years of prior field service experience preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 90%
- Strong understanding of injection molding, mechanical, and electrical components
- Expertise in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Exemplary customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Valid passport and Driver’s license with strong driving record
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Japanese preferred, but not required
- This position includes work in a manufacturing and warehousing environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
