Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Phantom Recovery LLC is looking for skilled and driven Repossession Agents to join our team in Omaha, NE. This is a fast-paced, field-based role where no two days are the same — perfect for self-starters who thrive under pressure and take pride in getting the job done right.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and recover collateral (vehicles, equipment, etc.) on behalf of lending institutions and creditors
- Conduct skip tracing and field investigations to locate debtors and assets
- Operate tow trucks or recovery vehicles safely and in compliance with all regulations
- Document all recovery activity accurately and submit timely reports
- Communicate professionally with clients, law enforcement, and the public
- Adhere to state and federal repossession laws and company protocols
- Manage and secure recovered assets until proper disposition
Requirements:
- Prior experience in repossession, recovery, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and irregular hours as needed
- Familiarity with skip tracing tools and recovery software is a plus
- Strong situational awareness and ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Knowledge of Nebraska repossession laws and compliance standards preferred
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field
